1. Handcrafted & Made-to-Order
All items are individually handcrafted from sustainably sourced Australian hardwoods. Each piece is unique and made-to-order based on client preferences.
Please allow between 2 to 4 weeks for your item to be completed. Some items may be finished sooner depending on complexity and current workload. You will receive updates throughout the process so you’re always informed of your item’s progress.
2. Product Images & Timber Selection
- All product images and photos shown on the website are for illustration purposes only.
- Because every piece of Australian hardwood is unique, no two items will look exactly the same.
- As part of the ordering process, we personally guide each client through the available timber options so they can choose the type of wood that suits their taste and purpose.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices displayed on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
- Prices include Australia-wide shipping.
- For international orders, please contact us directly before purchasing to confirm freight costs and delivery options.
- Payment is required in full before production begins.
4. Shipping
- Shipping is included in the displayed price for Australian customers.
- Orders are shipped via trusted national carriers with tracking details provided once dispatched.
- Zane Design is not responsible for delivery delays once the item has left our studio, but we will assist where possible in resolving any delivery issues.
5. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our items, returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted for change of mind.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos, and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
6. Natural Timber Variations
All pieces are handcrafted from real Australian hardwoods. As such, variations in colour, grain pattern, and natural features (e.g., knots, checks, mineral streaks) are part of the charm and uniqueness of each product. These are not considered faults but authentic characteristics of the material.
7. Client Communication
We pride ourselves on keeping our clients informed throughout the crafting process. You will receive regular updates via email or your preferred contact method so you can follow your item’s journey from timber to finished piece.
